Christmas Party and Concert (Dec. 22)
We had plenty of fun activities at our Christmas party, including marshmellow
races, making a giant Christmas cake, and a home-made Santa pinyata. After
that we had our concert. Everyone had worked hard to prepare for this,
and the performances reflected the tremendous effort the children had put
into learning the songs and the choreography.
Ready, get set, GO! Marshmellow races were a definite hit.

Everyone was involved in making the Christmas cake. After that we all got
to eat our fill (as long as we mind our manners: "Can I have a one more piece, please!")

After eating, everyone got to take a turn hitting the Santa pinyata until
he finally sent treats scattering throughout the room.
After that, we were ready for our concert. We had been practicing three
songs for almost two months, so everyone could sing"We Wish You a Merry Christmas", "Twinkle, Twinkle, Littler Star",
"Jingle Bells" with very little shyness.

What a wonderful concert ! |
